SET PAYOUTS · FOR BUSINESSES WITH A TEAM ABROAD
Pay your whole overseas team in digital dollars from one list.
Every payment confirmed on chain in minutes, one flat monthly price, and SET never touches your money. Paste one list of wallet addresses, amounts and your own references, approve each payment from your own wallet, and download one report for your books. Your contractors get USDC, a digital dollar, at any wallet or exchange that supports the Base network.
WHY PAYING PEOPLE ABROAD IS HARD
A fee per wire, a markup on the rate, and days of waiting.
This is what the banks and the official data say about paying people in other countries today, in their own words. A plan from SET is one flat price a month instead of a fee for each person you pay.
| Bank | What the fee schedule says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Chase | “International U.S. Dollar (chase.com) $40 per transfer”; online; $50 per transfer at a branch | Chase business fee schedule, effective 06/14/2026 |
| Bank of America | “International outgoing wire in U.S. dollars: $45” | Bank of America Business Schedule of Fees, effective February 20, 2026 |
| Wells Fargo | $30 for a digital outgoing international wire in US dollars; $40 at a branch | Wells Fargo business service fees |

The wait
“B2B and B2P use cases exhibited less than 45% of payments settled within one business day.”
In 2025, 2.2% of business-to-business cross-border payment services credited funds within one hour of initiation, and 39.6% within one business day.
Financial Stability Board, G20 Roadmap consolidated progress report, 9 October 2025 (Table 12)“63% of payments executives reported taking two to five business days to pay international vendors, contractors or freelancers; 17% reported taking more than five days.”
In the same survey, 66% agreed that the potential for high foreign exchange costs diminished their companies' interest in new vendor, contractor or freelancer relationships. Respondents were European payments executives, about 2023.

How contractors chose to be paid, across more than one million workers.
Deel, 2025 State of Global Hiring Report, 11 March 2026With SET Payouts, each payment is a USDC send on Base that SET marks paid after three confirmations, usually within minutes of your approval. What your recipient pays to turn USDC into local money depends on the wallet or exchange they choose.
HOW IT WORKS
Four steps from sign-in to a paid team.
- 01
Sign in with your email
Enter the one-time code and Privy creates your business wallet. Only you can approve a send from it.
- 02
Add USDC and a little ETH
Send USDC on Base you already hold (no SET fee), buy it with a card through Stripe, or deposit from your bank to your own account number. Keep a little ETH on Base for network fees.
- 03
Paste your list
One line per person: their Base address, the amount in USDC and, if you like, a private reference. SET checks every line before anything is recorded.
- 04
Approve, then download
Approve each send in Privy's confirmation screen. Each payout is marked paid after three confirmations on Base, and the batch downloads as one CSV report.
WHO IT IS FOR
Businesses paying contractors abroad who want dollars.
PLANS
One flat price a month. No fee per payout.
Plans count the people you pay: each distinct recipient address in a calendar month (UTC). Paying the same person twice in a month counts once.

Every plan: up to 50 recipients per batch, 1.00 to 2,500.00 USDC each and 10,000.00 USDC per batch. Each send pays a small Base network fee in ETH, which Privy shows before you approve. Billed monthly in US dollars, before any tax; cancel any time in Stripe's customer portal, effective at the end of the period you paid for. You choose a plan inside your wallet, so it belongs to the account that pays. Terms, Section 19.
WHAT YOU NEED
An email, some USDC, and your team's addresses.
- A US business, with the owner signing in by email. Privy creates the wallet; there is no separate account to open.
- USDC on Base to pay with, and a little ETH on Base for network fees. Privy shows each fee before you approve.
- Each recipient's address for USDC on Base, from any wallet or exchange that supports Base. They do not need a SET account.
Funding with USDC you already hold carries no SET fee. Buying USDC with a card carries Stripe's own fees, and a bank deposit to your own account number carries SET's 3% fee (how the wallet works).
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
The limits, plainly.
- Recipients get USDC on Base. SET does not pay bank accounts in local currency; converting USDC is up to each recipient.
- Sends are final. A payment on a blockchain cannot be reversed, so check each address and its network before you pay.
- You approve each send in Privy. Nothing is sent automatically, and SET cannot send for you.
- SET never holds your money or your keys. SET is not a bank, a payroll provider or an employer of record.
- Every plan keeps the same batch rules: up to 50 recipients per batch, 1.00 to 2,500.00 USDC each and 10,000.00 USDC per batch.
- No plan promises savings: what you spend depends on how you fund the wallet and on what your recipients pay to convert USDC.
QUESTIONS
What business owners ask first.
What if a contractor wants local money, not USDC?
SET Payouts sends USDC on Base only and does not pay bank accounts in local currency. Each recipient needs an address that accepts USDC on Base, from any wallet or exchange that supports it, and converting USDC is up to them through a provider they choose. Keep your current method for anyone who needs a local bank deposit.
Who holds the money, and what if SET goes away?
You hold it. Privy creates a self-custodial wallet when you sign in, only you can approve a send, and you can export your key. SET never holds your funds or your keys. Every payment is recorded on Base, a public blockchain, and your USDC stays in your wallet whether or not you keep a plan.
What if I paste a wrong address?
A payment on a blockchain cannot be reversed. SET checks every line before anything is recorded and refuses an invalid, zero or USDC-contract address, your own wallet and a duplicate recipient, and you approve each send yourself. Send a small test payment to any new recipient, and confirm each address and its network before you pay.
What about contracts, taxes and tax forms?
SET Payouts is a payment tool, not an employer of record, a payroll provider or a tax service, and SET does not give tax advice. Your contracts and tax forms stay as they are. Each batch downloads as a CSV with the amount, status and transaction hash of every payout, and Starter and Growth add a monthly statement of every payout; ask your accountant how to record USDC payments.
Sending USDC is already cheap. Why pay for a plan?
The transfer is cheap; the work around it takes time. SET Payouts gives you one list instead of a send per person, a check of every line before you approve, a confirmation on Base for every payout, a CSV report for each batch and, on Starter and Growth, a monthly statement. Free covers up to 5 people a month, so you can try it before you pay anything.
What counts as a person?
Each distinct recipient address you pay in a calendar month, counted in UTC. Paying the same address twice in one month counts once, and the count starts again on the first of each month.
What does it cost besides the plan?
SET charges no fee per payout. Each send pays a small Base network fee in ETH, which Privy shows before you approve. Funding with USDC you already hold carries no SET fee; buying USDC with a card carries Stripe's fees, and a bank deposit to your own account number from Bridge carries SET's 3% fee.
What happens when I reach my plan's limit?
You can pay up to your plan's number of people in a calendar month. To pay more people that month, upgrade from Payouts in your wallet; the higher limit applies once Stripe confirms the subscription. Every plan keeps the same batch rules: up to 50 recipients per batch, 1.00 to 2,500.00 USDC each and 10,000.00 USDC per batch.
How do I upgrade, switch plans or cancel?
Upgrade from Payouts in your wallet, which opens Stripe Checkout. Plans are billed monthly in US dollars, before any tax. Switch between Starter and Growth, update your card, see invoices or cancel in Stripe's customer portal, opened from the same place. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you return to Free.
Do my recipients need a SET account?
No. They need an address that accepts USDC on Base, from any wallet or exchange that supports Base, and nothing else from SET.
